What is Debt Payoff Planner: Tracker?

An iPhone app for recording debts and payments, comparing payoff strategies and following progress. It is a planning and tracking tool, not a lender or debt settlement service.

Do I need an account?

No separate app account is required. Apple handles App Store purchases using your Apple Account. The website calculators also work without an account.

Which method is better: snowball or avalanche?

Snowball targets the smallest balance. Avalanche targets the highest rate. Compare the estimated costs and choose an order you can follow. Your lender’s rules and real payments can change the outcome.

Does the calculator send my debts to a server?

Calculations run in your browser. Calculator inputs are not sent to analytics. The QR code on a printed plan and older shared-plan links contain the plan’s numbers and debt names in the URL. Anyone with that link can read them.
