Calculator inputs
Calculations happen in your browser, without an account or a calculation server. Inputs are held in the current page. They are not sent to Google Analytics. Creating a share link is optional: its URL contains your debt names, amounts and other inputs. Anyone with the link can read them. Shared URLs can also appear in browser history and hosting request logs. Do not put information you want to keep private in a shared link.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only when a measurement ID is configured and you accept analytics cookies. Refusing does not limit the website. We do not load analytics on pages with query parameters, including shared calculator links. Browsers requesting Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are also excluded. Analytics can process sanitized page paths, referring page paths, browser/device information and approximate location. Advertising storage, personalization and Google Signals are disabled.
Your choice and browser storage
If analytics is configured, use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. The essential local storage key debtweb-analytics-consent-v1 remembers your choice. Optional _ga cookies may be stored by Google after consent. Withdrawing consent disables analytics, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. You can also remove cookies in your browser settings.
Hosting and external links
This MVP is local. When published on Netlify, hosting will process request and security information needed to serve the site. App Store links include a campaign label and may include an App Store Connect provider token. Following a link opens Apple’s service. We do not automatically send debt inputs to the iPhone app.
The iPhone app
The app has its own storage and service integrations, including purchases, analytics and diagnostics. This website policy does not replace the app privacy policy.
Questions and choices
Contact the developer for questions or requests about personal data. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to a local data protection authority.
